Refund policy

At Malkn, we want you to feel confident when shopping with us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

We currently offer free exchanges for clothing & apparel products only. Please refer below for more information.

Return Eligibility (All Products)

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unopened and unused/unworn

  • In their original, undamaged packaging

  • With all hygiene seals, stickers, and accessories fully intact

For hygiene, safety reasons and other legal reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened, unsealed, or used skincare/cosmetic products

  • Items without hygiene seals

  • Free gifts or promotional items

  • Final sale items

  • Gift cards

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please email hi@malknstudio.co.uk with:

  1. Your order number

  2. The item(s) you wish to return

  3. The reason for the return

Our team will review and, if approved, assist you with instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval may be delayed or rejected.

Please ensure your order number is clearly included inside or on the parcel, as returns without identification cannot be processed.

For Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

We carefully package all orders; however, minor cosmetic creasing to outer packaging can occasionally occur during transit, especially on international deliveries. This does not qualify as product damage and is not eligible for refund or replacement.

In your Return Request above, make sure to also add the following:

  • Photos/videos of the damaged or incorrect item

  • Photos of the outer packaging and the shipping label

Do not dispose of the product or packaging until we have resolved the case.

Our team will review and, if approved, we will offer a replacement or full refund.

Return Shipping

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Malkn will cover return postage and provide a prepaid label.

Change-of-mind returns

The customer is responsible for return postage. 

You may choose any tracked courier for the return.

Refunds (All Products)

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection by email
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
  • If returned items are opened, used, damaged, missing parts, or not in original condition, the return may be rejected or partially refunded.
  • If your refund causes the order total to fall below the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost may be deducted

Exchanges (Clothing & Apparel)*

*Clothing & Apparel refers to wearable garments such as tops, trousers, dresses, skirts, outerwear and footwear, and excludes bags, hats, all accessories, jewellery, any and all cosmetic products, and beauty devices.

If you need a different size or colour of your clothing, we’ll cover the return shipping and send the replacement to you at no extra cost.

Please notify us within 14 days of delivery at hi@malknstudio.co.uk and include:

  • Your order number

  • The item name, size and colour ordered and received

  • The size or colour you would like instead (exchanges are only available across the same item)

  • Confirmation that the item is unworn, unused, and with all original tags attached

Please note: Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the replacement is unavailable after the exchange request, a refund will be offered instead, according to our Refund Policy.

If an exchange cannot be fulfilled due to stock unavailability prior to the exchange request, the request will be treated as a change-of-mind return in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy.

All exchange items must be returned unworn, unused, and with all original tags attached. 

If, upon inspection, the item shows signs of wear, use, damage, odour, or alteration, the exchange will not be accepted. In such cases, the item will be returned to the customer at their expense, and no exchange or refund will be issued.

If an item is deemed ineligible for exchange and the customer declines to cover the cost of return shipping, we will notify them and hold the item for up to 14 days from the date of notification.

If we do not receive payment or further instruction within this period, the item may be disposed of or recycled in accordance with our internal procedures, and no exchange or refund will be issued.

We reserve the right to limit or refuse free exchanges where repeated or unusual return activity is identified.
