Arario Blouse

Details for TETEROT SALON Arario Blouse

This blouse follows the same wrap-front construction as the Jeogori, Hanbok's traditional upper garment. A dark jacquard trim lines the collar and front opening, closing at the side with a small fabric tab rather than buttons, echoing the Goreum tie found on a traditional Jeogori. Sheer, gently puffed sleeves finish in solid cuffs, giving the piece a lighter, more contemporary edge than heavier Hanbok fabrics. Its name, Arario, echoes a refrain from Arirang, Korea's best-known folk song and a UNESCO-recognised piece of intangible cultural heritage.
