I Purple You Blouse - BTS Deep Purple

Details for TETEROT SALON I Purple You Blouse - BTS Deep Purple

This blouse takes its shape from the Jeogori, the foundational upper garment of Hanbok, traditional Korean dress. Its defining feature is the Goreum: a fabric tie fastened in place of buttons, traditionally used to close the wrap front. Here, the tie sits low at the side, closing a deep purple wrap front cut in a clean, unlined fabric. The name references "borahae", translated in English as "I purple you", the phrase coined by BTS member V in 2016, in which purple represents lasting trust between the group and their fans.
